NORTH PLATTE, Neb. The Platte River Cruise is expected to bring thousands to North Platte.

The show will take place in Downtown North Platte July 12-13.

A pinup girl contest will take place at the Platte River Mall on Saturday along with a Kid's Cruise featuring the towns hottest big wheels.

"As far as the car show we have around 55-60 pre-registered already. The pinup girl contest there's about 27 pre-registered already and it sounds like there's another 50 coming so we'll see," said Rob Cappa.

"As far as people, they're anticipating about 2,000-3,000 people maybe even more."
