Three people in jail after rollover accident

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - An Interstate 80 rollover turns into a drug bust near North Platte. Lincoln County Sheriff Deputy, Roland Kramer, says three people were in a roll over accident two miles west of North Platte early Monday morning about 3 a.m.

Two Iowa people were cleared with minor injuries at the scene, 21-year-old Daniel Njenga and 20-year-old Nyarol Billio. A third man ran from the scene with a large blue duffel bag.

Deputies caught 26-year-old Lawrence Sino south of the accident without the duffel bag. Sino was cleared with minor injuries at Great Plains Health.

While investigating the accident Deputies smelled raw Marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle and surrounding area revealed many Marijuana bags, Marijuana Edibles, THC Wax, THC Patches and $500.00 worth of suspected counterfeit $50.00 bills.

All three individuals were arrested and incarcerated in the Lincoln County Detention Center for: Possession of Marijuana over 1 Pound, Money and Controlled Substance Violations and Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana.

All three went to jail on drug charges.
