NORTH PLATTE. Neb -- Since October, Rob Cortis of Michigan has made it his mission to travel the United States pulling behind him a bridge, a symbol of unity.

So far, he has traveled over 30,000 miles and visited 34 states.

His goal is to promote a message of unity across political affiliations.

Cortis wants people to understand that all Americans have big hearts and are willing to listen to others.

"We don't care if you disagree with us, we're human and we're about humanity. We want to work together to make peace to make America better, create jobs, and secure our boarder and make America a better place," says Cortis.

Along the way, people have left symbolic items such as a motorcycle and a bald eagle carved out of wood, as well as messages that support unity.

The Trump Unity Bridge has gained many fans along the way, even receiving recognition from the President himself.
