Water Circus comes to North Platte
Cirque Italia is not the average, traditional circus like many others, it's a water circus and it's in North Platte for four days.
The show stems from Italian influence and has been on the road for six years.
Victor Abadilla is a juggler with the show and said he loves life on the road. "It’s a very wonderful feeling, meeting new people, meeting new places, new cities. It's pretty unique, pretty cool, you see how much different it is from town to town even though it’s not that far away from each other," said Abadilla.
Morgaine Rosenthal is the manager and a performer with the show and said the reason she has stayed so long with the show is how fun it is to perform and travel. "I love every aspect of my job. Everything from managing and performing and being on the road and the family we have here," said Rosenthal.
One of the acts is a butterfly aerialist performed by Samantha Kulinski who uses a lira for her performance.
"It's overwhelming in the best way, where I feel like I'm the luckiest girl in the world that I get to do this for my job and I get to inspire people to think bigger than what they may be doing or who you are that if you work hard and pursue your dreams and keep pushing, you can do anything you want," said Kulinski.
The show runs Thursday through Sunday in the tent at the Platte River Mall and tickets are available
