It's been six days since the merchants of Westfield Shopping Center have been helping restock the shelves at the Salvation Army.

Eight locations at Westfield have put out shopping carts asking for donations to help restock the food pantry at the Salvation Army.

The drive is a result of the North Platte Chamber challenging the public to assist.

Bible Supplies' Alyssa Fabik said it's felt good making a difference.

"It's great to see a change in atmosphere and realizing there is love to be shared and that people are willing to share whatever they have," said Fabik. "If it's change, if it's canned foods- there's a need and they can help fill it."

The drive ends on February 21st.
