Western Nebraska got hammered by a wintry storm on Friday afternoon, causing the closure of the interstate and multiple highways.
That storm is making its way across Nebraska Saturday and is starting to impact northern and eastern Nebraska.
Gov. Ricketts issued an emergency declaration to allow state funds to be used for response to the storm.
Travel is not recommended unless it is absolutely unavoidable.
