BRADY, Neb. (KNOP-TV) The Brady Eagles boys basketball team gets set for the 2019-2020 season, with Head Coach Chris Blacha back to lead the team for a second season.

Brady basketball runs a shooting drill during practice.

Blacha is hoping this year that he and his team can carry over some of the success that they saw last season. With some continuity under his belt, he expects the team to become more adapted to his schemes. The Eagles were known for their size last year, which resulted in them lead the state all-class in blocks, blocks per game, something Blacha and the team want to see continue this season.

The Eagles are on board with their head coach and echoed similar statements in what they hope to accomplish this season on the court. "Defensively and offensively, we just need to execute those in our second year together", said senior captain TJ Roe. "Finishing in the paint is something huge were working on", added Blacha.

The Eagles get set to begin their season once students return from Thanksgiving break.
