CHAPPELL, Neb. (KNOP)- It wasn't too long ago when the future of the Creek Valley football program was in doubt. In 2018, they went 3-5, the first season they recorded a win since 2010. This years team however had a special bond from the start, which translated into a special season.
Creek Valley met as a team after Friday nights loss.
"They play together, they work together and they hang out together after games and on the weekends", said Head Coach Joe Kupper, who led the Storm to a 9-0 record in the regular season.
Despite a loss against Harvard, 50-20, on Friday night to end their season, Kupper believes this will set the standard for future teams and reflected on the work ethic the team had. "The guys are totally unsatisfied with the result of tonight. The guys will be in the weight room on Monday morning, their work ethic is just unprecedented."
