Local fighters are doing their best to stay in shape as they look forward to the day that fights and events can resume. With the St. Patty's Day Beatdown, originally scheduled for March 21st and now postponed to June 6th, some of the participants are using the time off as a time to stay in shape.

"We can go a little bit harder now," said Jayson Scott, one of the fighters headlining the event. "We don't have to worry about injuries or pulling out of fights if we get hurt."

One of the fighters, Taylor McKeeman had to pull out of the fight due to a back injury. Now because of the postponement, he is hoping to participate in the event once it is held.

"If I can get everything fixed up and ready to go, I would absolutely love to rock in June," said McKeeman.
