NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-- Last year, the Sandhills/Thedford Knights lost in the first round of the state playoffs to the Paxton Tigers.
Come Friday, they'll be back in Paxton looking to minimize the Tigers big play capabilities that cost them the game last year.
The Knights plan to do so is to stop the Tiger's running backs from getting to the edge.
The knights feel their key to winning is controlling the line of scrimmage and forcing the Tigers into passing situations.
Paxton is coming off a bye week and looking to avoid 0-3 start.
The key to the Tiger's game plan is getting guys open in space while also getting quarterback, Lane Blackwell in a rhythm.
The Tiger's will be relying on their speed but still looking for a balanced air and ground attack.
