NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-- Every year the Hershey alumni golf to raise money for a good cause and this year alumni said it was best one yet.
Nearly a year ago, Gilbert Hiatt was diagnosed with ALS.
In response, 120 people registered for the four person team scramble.
All proceeds will go to the Hiatt family to benefit medical and travel expenses associated with Gilbert Hiatt.
Many of his former students say they're just happy to gave back to a guy that always looked after them.
"You know all these people love the Hiatts and they've got so many kids that have grown up in this area and I mean this his for him. It's all about the fun, all about the golf but more importantly its all about Gilbert," says Brett Ehlers.
