Hershland overcomes 12-run deficit to walk-off against Overton

At one point down 12-0, the Hershland Trojans were nearly run-ruled in Tuesday's game against Overton, but scored seven runs in the fifth inning to keep the game going. Down two runs in the bottom of the seventh, with two outs, Tanner Sherman delivered a two RBI single to tie the game at 14. The Bandits scored a run in the top of the eighth, but the Trojans scored two in the bottom half of the inning to take the win 16-15.

In other action, the Imperial juniors defeated Overton 12-3, the Ogallala juniors lost to Buckley 15-4, the Gothenburg juniors lost to Holdrege 7-6, and the Gothenburg seniors defeated Holdrege 8-0.
