Isaiah Roby declared for NBA Draft

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN)- Isaiah Roby declared his eligibility for NBA draft on Friday.

"I’m thankful for Nebraska for being my home over the last three years, Roby said on Instagram. "Coach Miles, the staff, my teammates and fans have embraced me, and I am truly grateful for everything. With that being said, I would like to announce that I am declaring for the NBA draft."

Roby is currently a junior forward for the Husker's men basketball team. During the 2018-19 season, Roby led NU in both rebounding (6.3 rpg) and blocked shots (2.0 bpg). Over the Huskers' final eight games, Roby averaged 13 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game, recording three of his four double-doubles in that time.

According to Roby, he will keep his collegiate eligibility open.

Roby initially joined UNL in 2016 after finishing his high school basketball career at Dixon High School in Dixon Ill.
