Knights drop final three sets in sophomore night loss

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - NPCC volleyball hosted McCook Community College for a rivalry game on sophomore night Wednesday. Before the game, the Knights honored their five sophomores, Bailey Chintala, Gabby Meghini, Haiden Kreber, Trinity Langley, and Sydney Mullin.

The Knights got ahead of the Indians early, winning set one 25-23, and set two 25-22, but the Indians took the final three sets, 25-18, 25-18, and 15-10 to take the match in five sets.

The Knights fall to 9-14 on the season. They have nine games remaining this season, but all of them are on the road. They head to Columbus this weekend for the Ramada Classic, where they will play four games in two days.
