Knights open conference play with a win

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP)- The NPCC men's basketball team opened up NCCAC play on Tuesday, hosting Southeast Community College at McDonald-Belton Gymnasium.

The Knights came into this one 8-1, thanks in large part to sophomore center Jakub Karwowski, who was averaging 11.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 3.1 blocks per game.

Karwowski added 11 boards, and three blocks in the game, as the Knights rolled the Storm, 89-59.

The Knights improve to 9-1, and are off for a month. Their next game is January 10, at Hastings College.
