Knights top Hastings JV in four sets

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - The Knights hosted Hastings College JV on Wednesday evening at McDonald-Belton Gymnasium.

The Knights lost set one 20-25, thanks in part to the offense of Thedford-grad Marlee Taylor for the Broncos. But, the Knights won the next three sets, 25-23, 25-14, and 25-20, to get the win.

The Knights were led on offense by Peyton Negley, who had 17 kills, and Erica Hopping, who provided 52 assists. Defensively, Bailey Chintala had 24 digs, and Ruby Valle added 17 for the Knights.

The Knights will have another game Thursday at 6 p.m., hosting Central Community College.
