Knights win first two sets, drop final three to lose to Eastern Wyoming

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - The NPCC volleyball team hosted Eastern Wyoming Tuesday, for their second match-up of the season.

The Lancers won the first match-up in straight sets.

On Tuesday, the Knights took the first two sets, 25-17 and 25-20, but lost the following three, 20-25, 24-26, and 14-16 to lose the match.

Gabby Menghini led the team with 15 kills, and Sydney Mullin was behind her with 14. Erica Hopping had 51 assists in the loss, and Ruby Valle had 24 digs.

The Knights fall to 5-5 on the season, and will be back in action Thursday, when they head to Sterling, CO to play Northeastern Junior College.
