Lexington's Kaleb Carpenter Signs Letter Of Intent To Play At Creighton

LEXINGTON, NEB. (KNOP)- Lexington senior Kaleb Carpenter will take his baseball skill level to Division I next year, as today he signed his letter of intent to play at Creighton University in Omaha. Carpenter began getting recruited his sophomore year and was quickly given an offer from Creighton, he verbally committed at the end of his sophomore season.

"I am extremely grateful for the friends, coaches and family I have and have had. They have supported me through everything." Carpenter is a multi-sport athlete having played football and basketball for the Minutemen while in school. Carpenter added that he is thrilled to be apart of the Creighton program and looks forward to the coaches and teammates that will push him to be better everyday.
