Tommy Vieyra, owner of the Nebraska Athletic Club, wants people to know that his gym has been taking the necessary steps to keep it as clean as possible.
"We already had a clean protocol in action because of the nature of the business. You touch a lot of things," said Vieyra.
While attendance at the gym hasn't dropped off too much in the past week, it's understandable why some of the public is hesitant to be in a place where there is a lot of physical contact and interaction. For someone like Shelley Turnbull, however, it's just life as normal.
"Life is just as normal as it was before, I don't have a lot of fear when it comes to this." Turnbull would go on to say that she's been washing her hands a little more frequently than normal.
Physical exercise is a great way to boost the immune system and fight off viruses. Vieyra wanted to remind residents that any information regarding the coronavirus should come from a trusted source.
"Listen to what the professionals are saying, especially in the medical field."
