After a back and forth battle throughout the entirety of the game and overtime looked to be inevitable when Connor Semin of St. Mary's stepped up to the free throw line down two with only seconds remaining.
Semin would end up missing both free throws and the Broncos would hang on for a thrilling 51-49 victory.
Mullen will now face Humphrey St. Francis tomorrow afternoon, with a 2 p.m. tip-off scheduled at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
