NPCC Knights Basketball Hosts Laramie County

NORTH PLATTE, NEB. (KNOP)- The North Platte Community College Knights Men’s Basketball Team won their afternoon match against Laramie County Community College, 72-65. The Knights are now 2-1 on overall season record.

NPCC’s Courtney Murrell led the Knights in scoring with 16 points. Damon Harge posted 13 points, Tim Johnson scored 11 points, Danilo Matovic put up 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds, while Luke Christen had seven rebounds.

The Knights next host Garden City Community College on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. in the McDonald-Belton Gymnasium.

The North Platte Community College Knights Women’s Basketball Team faced the Laramie County Community College Golden Eagles and are now 2-3 on overall season record, after a final score of Knights 61-71 Golden Eagles.

NPCC’s Ashley Hassett posted 11 points, Isa Valenzuela put up 10 points and Katie Cox grabbed eight rebounds. The Knights next travel to play against Colby Community College in Colby, Kan. on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 6 p.m.
