NORTH PLATTE, NEB. (KNOP)- The North Platte Community College Knights Basketball team has signed another recruit for the 2020 season. Trevon Dennis, of Paris, TX., joins the Knights as a 6’5” guard out of Paris High School.

Dennis helped lead his high school team to the Regional Finals while earning numerous individual honors in 2020 including 4A All State, All Area MVP, All District, All 4A Region 2 Team and East Texas Top 24 All-Stars. Dennis averaged 14.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocked shots per game during the 2019-20 season.

“We are extremely excited that Trevon made the decision to join our program,” commented NPCC Head Coach Kevin O’Connor. “He is very talented and plays the game with tremendous passion. It’s evident that he has been well coached. We believe he is going to have an immediate impact on next year’s team. He is a young man with great character which I believe is just as, if not more important than his basketball abilities.”
