The Bulldog cheerleaders raise money for the Callahan Cancer Center in North Platte, by selling t-shirts, crew neck sweatshirts, and raffle tickets to win tickets to the Nebraska/Wisconsin football game, or tickets to Luke Combs at Nebraskaland Days.

One cheerleader who the "Purple Out" meant a lot to was junior Haeley Folk. Folk's father passed away from cancer in July 2018.

"I saw what the Callahan Cancer did for him and my family, so anything that I, or the cheer team, can do to give back, is just super special," Folk said.
