North Platte Volleyball preview '18

NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-- Head Coach Laura Miller will be entering her 13th season with the program and says its a predominately younger team this year with only two seniors and four letter winners returning.

Last year the bulldogs went 11-25 and haven't made a deep run into state since 2015.

Over the summer they won the Mid Plains Community College and Doane team camps.

Even with some success over the summer coach Miller says she'd still like to see a bit of a culture change.

"We're definitely looking for some culture change in the program all the way around. Effort and attitude those are two things that everybody has control of. You know, you control you effort you control your attitudes. So, we're definitely putting an emphasis on that and skill level will come after that," says Miller.

The Bulldogs will open up their season Thursday August 16th at Kearney.
