HERSHEY, Neb. (KNOP) - Hershey football will not be having a homecoming game this season, as Friday's game against Southern Valley, which was scheduled to be the Panthers' homecoming game, has been forfeited by the Eagles.
Hershey High School will still have homecoming activities this week, and will have their homecoming dance on Saturday. Thursday night will be parents' night at the Panthers volleyball game.
According to Southern Valley Activities Director Brandon Marquez, the Eagles' roster was down to 11 kids due to low numbers and injuries. The Eagles will forfeit every one of their remaining games. The remaining games on the Eagles' schedule were Friday's game at Hershey, Oct. 11 hosting Bridgeport, Oct. 18 hosting St. Pat's, and Oct. 25 at Minden.
