The last two years have seen the Tigers make an appearance in the state tournament and with a bulk of last years team back, the Tigers see no reason why they can't make a run at a third straight appearance. Rhodes, who described himself as pointing out the negatives first when watching practice and his teams game film as a way to help the team improve on their weaknesses, said he hopes to see his team use their size their advantage. On paper, the Tigers are one of the tallest teams in the region, with several players on the roster listed at over six feet tall.
Presence in the paint, strong leadership and a coach who has a history of putting together winning teams, gives Paxton all the tools they need to make a run at an appearance in Lincoln again for the state tournament.
