OGALLALA, Neb.-- Last season was a transition year with the coaching change that seen the Indians end 4-5 and miss the playoffs.
This year, they return a healthy 12 seniors including every skill position plus thousand yard rusher Dillion Zink.
Head coach Brent Bauer says he sees a blue collar work ethic that has everyone playing for each other
"I really like our leadership. Our senior class has done a great job of holding our players accountable, holding the team to a high standard. We had a great summer both in camp and the weight room but like I said, the internal accountability that our team has put together has really impressed me and it's got me really excited. I think we've developed players really well this summer both in our up front lines and our skill positions. Our kids have worked really really hard and it's starting to show," says Bauer.
