The Class B Girls State Golf Tournament is coming to Western Nebraska in the very near future.

The NSAA approved a proposal set up by the cities of Scottsbluff and Gering to host the girls state meet in 2020, 2021, and 2022.

The NSAA will decide which course will host the event in 2020.

The cities also placed a bid to host the boys state meet, that decision will be made in February.

Norfolk will host the Class A Tournament, and Columbus will host Class C for 2020, 2021, and 2022.

North Platte did not win the bid for Class C, after hosting the Class C girls' meet for the past four years.
