"One big difference I've noticed in this years team already is the cehmistry", said head coach Dan Dyer. Dyer emphasized the importance of team basketball and working together on and off the court. The Sailors also appear to be at full strength heading into the season. Senior Tayton Schuster is ready to return to the court after missing last season with a torn ACL, an injury he sustained during football season. Schuster said he's ready to get back into the swing of things and knows what he can contribute to the team when out there on the court.
Jade Paxton, a senior point guard, said that the teams conditioning will play an important role in their success. "Some people think they don't need to work hard on conditioning. that pays off during the game."
The Sailors will hit the ground running with the bulk of their schedule once students return from Thanksgiving break.
