Seeking 2 year term

1. Please provide a brief overview of your background and what drives you to seek this office.

Manufacturing, Agricultural, Church, America (MACA) are values that I, US Senate candidate Mac Stevens, believes will unite this nation from the polarization that divides us today. I am a 4th generation Nebraska Ag producer, consulting nutritionist and businessman. As a graduate from UNL and NCTA at Curtis, I have a real concern for the direction of our University, state and country.

2. What would be your top three priorities if (re)elected?

We need more security to protect our schools, communities, cities and nation.

With fuel and food prices up 50% and 25% respectively, we need to reduce inflationary government overspending and expand domestic fuel production.

Diabetes and cancer have held our country hostage for too long. We need to expand less invasive yet effective treatment options.

3. How do you plan to advocate for federal support for Nebraska’s agriculture industry?

Bad policy has hit agriculture hard. Let’s bring down fuel prices with more domestic fuel production. Also, free trade will allow for more income and less federal support.

4. What strategies do you propose to enhance the economy?

MACro Economics demands less government, less wasteful overspending, lower taxes, and free trade.

5. What reforms need to be made to border security and immigration, if any? How do these issues directly impact Nebraskans?

We should finish the wall to reduce the flow of illegal activity. However. immigrates built this country and are still welcome but through “due process”

6. What is your stance on U.S. involvement in foreign conflicts such as those in Ukraine and Gaza? Do you support funding for these conflicts or sanctions against Russia?

All NATO countries agreed to commit 2% of GDP to counter communists aggression beginning with the Stalin regime. We should meet our obligation but insist all other NATO do the same. Gaza is a ongoing hostage situation so Iet’s put politics aside and support the families involved.

7. How would you balance being mindful of taxpayer spending and also providing critical services like infrastructure, social security and more to Nebraskans?

Social Security is pay as you go and no reason it should not have shortfalls. However, Presidents past and present have dipped into the funds, leaving unpaid IOU’s. Other federal funds I would spend as if it was my own money.

8. Many Americans are frustrated and distrustful of our leadership in Washington. How can you work to help rebuild trust between Government and the American people?

Watch what a politician does and not what they say, then vote accordingly
