Roofing company relocates to former Swan’s building in North Platte

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - A roofing and construction company is starting a new chapter in North Platte. New Harbor Roofing and Construction is now operating out of the former Swan’s building.

The move gives the company a new home in the community while also bringing new life to the longtime Swan’s location. New Harbor provides roofing and construction services to homeowners and businesses. The company said it hopes the new location will give it room to continue growing and serving customers in the North Platte area.

“Because the building is so much bigger than we require we came up with the idea of a contractor mall. Where a person could come in and find different trades man in all in one central location. So there are some trades that we don’t regularly provide and were working with some other contractors to come and rent some of the space and share some of the blessing. So that they can have there own brick and mortar location as well,” said Amanda Schmidt, managing member.

The company says the move is an exciting step forward as it continues building its business and connections with the local community.
